Gunnersbury Park Info

Gunnersbury Park is the “head quarters” for both the London Dog Family and Gunnersbury Park Dog Family, and home to the Gunnersbury Park Fun Dog Show!

With many a meeting held at the lovely Benugo cafe, situated near the boating lake.

There is a special dog enclosure area that has been designed at the side of the cafe, where you can safely park your dog, while making your order inside the cafe, to then enjoy a with fellow dog walkers.

Gunnersbury Park has 186 acres of park and woodland areas to enjoy, as well as beautiful historical buildings. A safe park to walk your dog, and a friendly dog community.

With constant changes, and lots of fantastic work by the gardening team, there’s always something new to see on your dog walk.

Dogs are allowed on lead:

  • By the boating pond
  • The outside cafe area
  • Surrounding the museum
  • By the small mansions

Dogs are not allowed:

  • In the boating lake
  • The horseshoe pond
  • In the Potomac Lake
  • Children’s Playgrounds
  • In the museum

Assistance dogs are allowed everywhere bar in the ponds.

Dog waste should be placed in a tightly sealed bag and taken home or deposited in the bins marked for dog waste or general bins.

Dog walkers are limited to 4 dogs per person.

Parking

Parking available for a maximum of 150 vehicles in the main car park located Via Popes Lane. (2nd entrance from Acton Town direction.)

Cafe

Drinking Water For Dogs

There are water bowls readily availble outside the Benugo cafe.

Toilets

Toilet facilities are located in the cafe for patrons, and outside a few yards away by the small childrens' play area.
